As a result of the Government’s latest announcement regarding Covid-19 we need to advise you of the following updated information as at  â€“ 12th October 2020

We are pleased to report that both of our Hotels are open and currently have a Covid Alert level of Medium.

We understand that the new alert tiering system, as well as general rules and advice, are constantly under review and guests must check government information themselves to understand any changes or new rules prior to visiting.

**In line with the latest government guidance we are unfortunately unable to except guests from high and very high tiered areas.**

Medium Alert areas
If you live in a medium alert area you can continue with your break - providing you comply with the latest restrictions.

High Alert areas
If you live in a high alert area you cannot mix indoors with other households as a result we feel we are unable continue with your booking, please contact the hotel to postpone your break or cancel with a refund.

Very High Alert areas
If you live in a very high alert area you should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK, as a result we are unable continue with your booking, please contact the hotel to postpone your break or cancel with a refund.

The welfare of our guests and our staff remains our priority at all times, we hope that as the party organiser you will ensure that no members of your group are traveling to us from these areas.

You must NOT meet in groups of more than 6 in any setting (indoors or outdoors).
This limit will be enforceable by law.

COVID-19 Secure venues, such as hospitality venues, can still host larger numbers in total,
but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups.

Our activities will be organised in line with these rules.

Face Coverings

In line with government guidelines, face coverings must be worn in all public areas in our hotel.

This includes all service points, public toilets, all corridors, craft studios, shooting ranges, spa treatment areas, game zones and our cinema.
(Children under 11 are not required to wear a mask).

Keeping You Safe

We've looked at each step of our guest journey to assess how we can keep you as safe as possible during your stay, whilst still giving you the outstanding experience you expect. Our processes and precautions will be under constant review and are subject to some potential change. This guide will be constantly updated to give you the very latest information. Additionally, it is difficult at this stage for us to commit on the procedures that will be in place further down the line, as changes to the restrictions are possible.

We will, of course, always comply with all government regulations.

General Points

Social Distancing
Measures have been put in place to, as far as is reasonably practicable, adhere to Government Guidance regarding social distancing (2m, or 1m with risk mitigation where 2m is not viable). Some relevant measures implemented include; greater spacing of dining room tables, floor markings in various areas, protective screens to limit the chances of contraction through face-to-face interaction in certain areas etc.

PPE & Hand Sanitisation
All guests will be actively encouraged, both verbally and via notices, to regularly wash their hands for 20 seconds or more. Additional hand sanitisers will be installed in numerous areas and facilities around the hotel sites.

Cash on Site
We are currently looking to make as much of the hotel 'cash-less' as possible. We would ask guests to use contactless payment as much as possible. Whilst we are trying to avoid cash payments, we will still be able to accept this over the bar and for paying the balance of your break on departure if absolutely necessary.

Thank you,

The Manor House & Ashbury Team
