Latest update following recent UK Government announcement

Extended Temporary Closure

In line with the latest government announcement, We have extend the temporary closure that we have in place for both of our hotels. We will remain closed until 16th May, and hope to be able to welcome guests back from the 17th May. Please note that our re opening is subject to future Government announcements regarding their roadmap plan.

Our decisions throughout the pandemic continue to be with the priority of keeping everyone as safe as possible.

This means that we will now have to postpone all bookings for anyone who was planning to visit us during this closure period.

Our Reception team will be calling all the bookings we have for this closure period to help you defer your booking to an alternative date, simply put your booking on hold until you feel ready to rebook or refund should you wish.

. This is being addressed in chronological order starting with arrivals due this week and they will work through all the bookings day by day. We would kindly ask for your patience as our Reception team work through this process, and not call the hotel direct.

We appreciate that this will be disappointing news for all those who enjoy staying with us. We would like to thank you for your patience, understanding and support in these exceptional circumstances.

We look forward to welcoming you back after our enforced closure.

We would also like to thank everyone who has stayed with us, visited us and enjoyed our facilities, since we initially re-opened in July 2020, for all their support and for the very positive way everyone has responded to the COVID-19 measures.

Keeping You Safe

We've looked at each step of our guest journey to assess how we can keep you as safe as possible during your stay, whilst still giving you the outstanding experience you expect. Our processes and precautions will be under constant review and are subject to some potential change. This guide will be constantly updated to give you the very latest information. Additionally, it is difficult at this stage for us to commit on the procedures that will be in place further down the line, as changes to the restrictions are possible.

General Points

Social Distancing
Measures have been put in place to, as far as is reasonably practicable, adhere to Government Guidance regarding social distancing (2m, or 1m with risk mitigation where 2m is not viable). Some relevant measures implemented include; greater spacing of dining room tables, floor markings in various areas, protective screens to limit the chances of contraction through face-to-face interaction in certain areas etc.

PPE & Hand Sanitisation
All guests will be actively encouraged, both verbally and via notices, to regularly wash their hands for 20 seconds or more. Additional hand sanitisers will be installed in numerous areas and facilities around the hotel sites.

Cash on Site
We are currently looking to make as much of the hotel 'cash-less' as possible. We would ask guests to use contactless payment as much as possible. Whilst we are trying to avoid cash payments, we will still be able to accept this over the bar and for paying the balance of your break on departure if absolutely necessary.
