There is absolutely nothing like our Craft Centres in the UK. We offer creative workshops in a wide range of traditional and contemporary arts making it the perfect place for a crafty break, whatever your level of experience. Our programme is flexible and we ensure that each craft activity runs at least once, generally twice during each stay, so guests can take part in as much or as little crafting as they choose. It doesn't matter whether you're an expert or a complete novice; we offer tuition from the the very basics up.
Tuition is included on all craft activities so you only pay for the materials used. The craft centre is a cash free zone. Items can be billed to your room (except on arrival/departure day), or can be paid for by credit/debit card. Some crafts, such as enamelling and candle making, require guests to wear fully enclosed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals).
Guests are welcome to bring their own items (i.e. tableware and glassware) from home to use in our Craft Workshops. However, we do make a £4.50 charge, per item, to cover equipment and running costs. Regrettably, we are unable to allow guests to use their own items in Machine Embroidery due to the complex nature of the class. Effective from 17/05/2020, should guests want to bring their own products we will only be able to accept for porcelain/transfers and glass painting/engraving. However, we would remind guests that we have an extension range of products, in both workshops, at very reasonable prices.
