Craft Activities

Our unique Craft Centre offers 17 tutored crafts including Pottery, Glass Engraving, Enamelling, Personalised Hot Press Printing and Woodwork. Our experienced tutors introduce each course with a comprehensive yet brief talk. To increase appreciation of the techniques required, we have a stock of examples for all crafts. This, coupled with the continued support of the tutor, ensures rapid understanding and excellent results. All costs are minimal - essentially only paying for the consumables.

During each mid-week (Monday to Friday) and weekend (Friday to Monday) each craft is scheduled at least once, generally twice. The exception is Pottery, which is offered 7 days a week. The programme is flexible and we ensure that extra sessions are available to suit requirements where possible. The atmosphere in the Craft Centre is relaxed and friendly, and since opening has been a considerable source of pleasure for guests, enjoying the diverse range of crafts on offer.
